try to use "1" key to click the link, I found more reliable this method in some sites,might help if you post some address where you face the issue for others to be able to reproduce it.As for clearing your history, it helps to keep clean your JVM, I think, and so your browsing is more smooth,after clearing your history, you can retrieve the last visited page hitting the "back" softkey twice
